MANAGER, SECURITY OPERATION CENTRE (SOC)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Security or related field
  • Masters degree in related field is an added advantage
  • More than 5 years management experience with a minimum of 3 years working experience in planning and management field
  • Have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the Information Security environment
  • Knowledgeable in current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches in area of expertise
  • Possess strong strategic management experience and strong analytical skills
  • Possess excellent leadership qualities with excellent organisational planning, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Result-oriented and highly motivated to meet organisational goals and targets
  • Proven track particularly in planning and implementing successful deliverables
  • Have an excellent understanding on the industry and government policies
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organising, prioritising, and scheduling work assignments
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Responsibilities:

  • To report to the Head of MyCERT and advise on issues and operation of MyCERT Coordination activities
  • Responsible for the smoothness of coordination, scheduling of the Department
  • Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of the unit in ensuring the deliverables are met in accordance to KPI
  • Keep abreast on the latest and current technology pertaining to the Information Security especially in Incident Response and Handling
  • To be aware of the CyberSecurity Malaysia's information security objectives and comply to all relevant policies, procedures and guidelines
